The Single Knuckle Wrought Iron Newel Post can greatly accomodate a contemporary home as well as a traditional one. It's normally used with Versatile and Modern Iron Balusters. Works in an over-the-post system where the handrail runs continuous with no stops. An iron newel post will be required every 8 ft, every time your stairs turn, change levels or end. 

• 1-3/16″ Sq. Bar - Height: 48″
• Must be mounted into the floor (Mounting Kit REQUIRED)
• Features one 4" knuckle
• Can be easily installed with our popular Iron Newel Post Mounting Kit (Sold Separately)

Caution: It is critical that the newel is attached securely in order for the staircase to comply with local building codes.
