This Left Hand Gooseneck with Cap has a 13” vertical rise, then levels off for newel junction and extends to the left into a continuing rail or wall. It has a cap to allow it to sit upon the top of an Over the Post Newel Post. Up easing is included, but not attached to the vertical drop.
