The 3046 Bunker Hill Long Face Wood Newel Post is used to transition between two different levels of rail without the use of a special fitting. It's longer face allows to accommodate the change in rise between the first run and the second run of the staircase.

• 3-1/2" width - 56" height
• 14-1/2" square top block - 19" square bottom block
• 5" acorn top - 17-1/2" turned middle
• Install using our Newel Post Mounting Kit 

Caution: It is critical that the newel is attached securely in order for the staircase to comply with local building codes.
