Description

The Plain Stair Wrought Iron Newel Post only works in an over-the-post system where the handrail runs continuous with no stops. An iron newel post will be required every 8 ft, every time your stairs turn, change levels or end. 

• 1-3/16″ Sq. Plain Square Bar - Height: 48″
• Must be mounted into the floor (Mounting Kit REQUIRED) 
• Typically used with matching balusters, Modern and Versatile Series
• Can be easily installed with our popular Iron Newel Post Mounting Kit (Sold Separately)

Caution: It is critical that the newel is attached securely in order for the staircase to comply with local building codes.
