1 x 8 Solid Wood Stair Riser (7-1/4") Stain Grade

A riser is the area in between the steps. The vertical component of a step which, along with the stringers, supports the treads. Stain grade is any type of milled wood suitable for staining, it has been planed and sanded in preparation for finishing. Can be also used as stair cap.

• Strength and durability designed for interior installation
• Can be finished to match stair treads or interior decor 
• Available lengths: 48" and 96"
• Thickness: 3/4" - Height: 7-1/4"

Wood risers are already naturally strong. Such durability will be reliable even on high duties as well. It means you do not need replacement very soon. The height can be reduced by edging on a table saw to a smaller width if needed.
