6210-B Traditional Wide Bending Handrail for curved staircases
Bending Rail is designed for making curved railings on most curved staircases and balconies at the jobsite. Bending handrail comes in 7 layers (ply) and is glued together to form the new handrail. Each ply comprising the bending rail is designed and manufactured with a tongue and groove bead to create an alignment of the plys. When assembled, bending rail results in a match of the standard 6010 rail profile. Includes outer casing moulding which is used during the glue-up process and clamped on opposing sides to secure bender rail while the wood glue drys.
The 6210-B stair handrail has the same profile (shape) as the 6010, but it is thicker/wider. It is usually installed on stairs to create a bolder and heavier look. It also provides the strength required to satisfy code requirements and a bigger grasping surface to avoid the person using it from falling. Very easy to install and easy to use with fittings. Available in a variety of lengths and wood types.
